Rob was able to pick out a beautiful tree that we have all enjoyed this Christmas. This will be one Christmas that we will always remember!

Brandon is playing the clarinet for the band. He tells me this is his last year to play. I'm hoping he will change his mind.

Maddi at her Christmas program. Her class was getting French lessons so they were able to sing some songs in French.

The kid's Christmas programs are always a lot of fun. This year we were scrambling to find clothes at the last minute because our house was torn apart. I was fortunate to have a camera and video the event. We were getting new floors put in our house. Some people would ask me why we decided to do the floors before the holidays. I would have to say that we had no idea what we were getting ourselves into. We have been forced to get rid of 10 years of stuff. It's a job that I don't wish to ever do again!

The day after Thanksgiving we visitted my friend, Michelle's house for a delicious lunch and wonderful company!

We enjoyed visitting my parents for Thanksgiving. There's nothing better than eating mom's dinner. We were able to go to the Exploritorium the day after Thanksgiving. We had a lot of fun being together with family.

Halloween 2008

One of our favorite days to celebrate, Halloween!
Courtney was a green m&m with her friends being different colors. Brandon was Darth Mall. Ty was a Bronco football player. Maddi was Little Red Riding Hood. And last but not least Aiden was an Astronaught.

Soccer Saturday

Our Saturdays our crazy during soccer season. We are running around from game to game, trying our best not to miss anything. We also like to watch Courtney cheer at her football games. Grandma Grace and Grandpa Brent were with us this weekend to see the grandkids in all their fun activities. We are definitely enjoying the journey!

Family Reunion

Smart Cookie

Grandma took us to Smart Cookie after the Tabernacle choir concert. This was a sweet treat!

Courtney and Maddi

At the concert. Maddi thought the concert should only include one song. hehehe. You can see the "dancing queen" behind Brooks knee.

The Group " Arrival"

The Dancing Queen

We went to the concert by "Arrival", a Swedish group that sings songs by Abba. It was seriously a great concert! This picture is of a guy who was sitting behind us. He danced his guts out. He knew how to really shake his booty. As you can see it was really tough to get a picture of him since he was moving so much. :)

Say cheese Grandpa!

Utah

We arrived at the Hill's house on Sunday afternoon and we had non-stop action the entire week. Family pictures, The Abba Concert, The Tabernacle Chior with the Osmonds, Ty and Maddi's birthday party, The family reunion, Grandma's birthday, The batman movie, Shopping, dropping a bundle at BYU's bookstore, and visitting Tracy and Tricia. We had an unbelievable time.

This is at Liberty Park, around the corner from Tracy and Tricia's new house.

Look at the arch behind me!

Pretty cool huh?

Courtney insisted on walking on the edge!

July: Bryce Canyon

We took a little trip to Bryce Canyon on our way to Utah. It was beautiful. Our first day there we went on a three mile hike. We found it interesting how most of the tourists were German and there weren't any young children. When we got back from our hike Rob started the BBQ for our dinner and it promptly started to rain. We had to run in the car and wait for it to stop. Looking around at all the veteran campers...while we were in the car we noticed how they had nice rain covers over their campsite for times like this and they just continued on with their dinners while we had to patiently wait for the rain to let up. Eventually we had a delicious dinner of hot dogs, baked beans, watermelon, and smores for dessert.

The Circus

The Loftus family invited us to The Ringling Brother's and Barnum Bailey Circus. It was my first time to see the circus. I had a deprived childhood. It was quite a show. Ty's favorite part was the motorcycles driving in the sphere.

July 4th

We had a great 4th of July. Spending time in the pool to stay cool and having a delicious BBQ. We saw fireworks at Buchanan Stadium. They put on a great show. They were a little loud for Aiden.

At Shanty's

You cant see it well, but the dog has pink tips!!!!

June

Our summer started out with a bang. We went to San Luis Obispo to visit Tyler and Amanda before they moved to Arizona. We had a great day at Caiucus Beach, had some great ice-cream and Sea Shanty's, and some good laughs. The main entertainment was Lillian and how she can talk now. Maddi asked Lillian if she was a squid and she answered "yeah".
