We took the tram up to the top of the mountain. We could see the town of Heber. What a view! We went on a hike down to the Paruvian chair lift and took that down to the bottom. It was beautiful scenary. I think that was my favorite part of the day!

On the return ride down the canyon we stopped off at Bridal Veil falls. The kids took their shoes off and had a great time climbing on the rocks. It was a beautiful day!

Bridal Veil Falls, Provo Canyon

This was our bike trip through Provo Canyon. It took a lot of planning but with the help of Raquel, Wendy, and Grandpa it all went quite smoothly. I think we should make it a family tradition.

Tracy's House

We were able to visit Tracy's house. He's doing some remodeling to the kitchen. We were also able to visit his new dog "Sugar". Lets just say no one will be bothering their house or yard for a very long time

San Francisco

Last weekend Rob, Courtney, Brandon and I were able to go to our long awaited trip to San Francisco to see the play Wicked. I've been wanting to see this play ever since I heard about it. I was fortunate to find out one of Jason's friends is in the cast and she was able to get us awesome seats. So....the trip started with us taking BART into the city. That in itself was an adventure. There was a homeless guy in the train with us. He would randomly yell out "I thought we were going to Mexico!" He did it so regularly that I would look over at Brandon and he didn't even have a surprised look on his face. At the end of the train ride we were all standing up and this other guy came walking down the isle and as he was passing by Rob he yells out "Happy Saturday Everybody!". As we got off of BART, and are now officially in the busy City, we needed to find where the theatre was located. We were running short on time. There happened to be a huge rally just down the street having to do with the middle east, naturally we walked towards the rally. We walked about a block from the BART station and were now getting a bit desparate. I gently nudged Rob to ask one of the cops for directions. He then points to the building that we had just walked away from and we see this huge poster on the wall. We then go running back to where we were with some kids asking their dad why everyone is running. We were so glad to make it to our seats. The show was definitely worth it.

Our February ski trip to Dodge Ridge. Up until 2 weeks before our trip we didn't know if there was going to be enough snow, but the week before our trip there were a series of snow storms. There was more powder than we've ever had at Dodge. It was incredible! Rob had to dig our car out of the snow on one of our mornings. He thought he was going to have a heart attack.

Amanda found adventures for us to do everyday. This is "Old Baldie" at Colossol Cave. This cave is famous for a couple of old flicks. One of them being a Big Bird movie, if you're lucky you probably didn't see it.

Spring Break : Arizona, to visit Tyler, Amanda, Lilian, and the new little addition Nora. It was quite an adventure! Thank you to grandma for going on the long drive with the very noisy children. ....And of course thank you to Tyler and Amanda for putting up with the very noisy children. The kid's Christmas programs are always a lot of fun. This year we were scrambling to find clothes at the last minute because our house was torn apart. I was fortunate to have a camera and video the event. We were getting new floors put in our house. Some people would ask me why we decided to do the floors before the holidays. I would have to say that we had no idea what we were getting ourselves into. We have been forced to get rid of 10 years of stuff. It's a job that I don't wish to ever do again!

We enjoyed visitting my parents for Thanksgiving. There's nothing better than eating mom's dinner. We were able to go to the Exploritorium the day after Thanksgiving. We had a lot of fun being together with family.

We went to the concert by "Arrival", a Swedish group that sings songs by Abba. It was seriously a great concert! This picture is of a guy who was sitting behind us. He danced his guts out. We arrived at the Hill's house on Sunday afternoon and we had non-stop action the entire week. Family pictures, The Abba Concert, The Tabernacle Chior with the Osmonds, Ty and Maddi's birthday party, The family reunion, Grandma's birthday, The batman movie, Shopping, dropping a bundle at BYU's bookstore, and visitting Tracy and Tricia. We had an unbelievable time.

July: Bryce Canyon

We took a little trip to Bryce Canyon on our way to Utah. It was beautiful. Our first day there we went on a three mile hike. We found it interesting how most of the tourists were German and there weren't any young children. When we got back from our hike Rob started the BBQ for our dinner and it promptly started to rain. We had to run in the car and wait for it to stop. Looking around at all the veteran campers...while we were in the car we noticed how they had nice rain covers over their campsite for times like this and they just continued on with their dinners while we had to patiently wait for the rain to let up. Eventually we had a delicious dinner of hot dogs, baked beans, watermelon, and smores for dessert.

The Loftus family invited us to The Ringling Brother's and Barnum Bailey Circus. It was my first time to see the circus. I had a deprived childhood. It was quite a show. Ty's favorite part was the motorcycles driving in the sphere.

July 4th

We had a great 4th of July. Spending time in the pool to stay cool and having a delicious BBQ. We saw fireworks at Buchanan Stadium. They put on a great show. They were a little loud for Aiden.

Our summer started out with a bang. We went to San Luis Obispo to visit Tyler and Amanda before they moved to Arizona. We had a great day at Caiucus Beach, had some great ice-cream and Sea Shanty's, and some good laughs. The main entertainment was Lillian and how she can talk now. Maddi asked Lillian if she was a squid and she answered "yeah".
